Feel the history in these walls
Reviving Nashville's Mother Church with a bespoke, fitted-for-forever visual brand
Reviving Nashville's Mother Church with a bespoke, fitted-for-forever visual brand
The Ryman Auditorium, Nashville's most treasured performance venue, wanted a visual identity revival. They challenged us to design an identity that felt as strong, timeless, and powerful as the history held within their walls.
We studied the Ryman for unique qualities and found it to be a powerful space where you feel incredibly connected to its history, as if every performer left part of themselves in the walls. We found our direction: capture the essence of the building itself.
Originally built as a church in the 1850's, the Ryman Auditorium is a journey into another time and place. Known as "the Mother Church of Country Music," the Ryman is considered a favorite theater by many of today's greatest artists. We worked to embody this emotional power in a powerful identity that rooted its aesthetics in the essence of the building.
We renewed the most legendary stage in the country music with a bold new brand and digital presence.
We told an inspiring story about a trailblazing lab instruments company who invented an industry.
We rallied the world's largest LGBT community organization around an inspired message and identity.
We repositioned a business-facing aerospace R&D company to become a consumer product leader.
We refreshed a quintessential Southern California icon with a vivid yet nostalgic visual identity.
